Life Giving Force LLC has been working in Haiti since the 2010 earthquake to provide clean drinking water to the people of Haiti. LGF Haiti recently installed an EF-5000 ultrafiltration system manufactured by Nimbus Water Systems into the Jacmel prison. This prison has been hit especially hard by the cholera epidemic.
“With a capacity of 20,000 liters per day supplying safe clean drinking water for upwards of 5,000 persons, the recently installed UF water treatment system can provide continuous drinking water for both the administrative staff and inmates over the long term, and thus significantly reduce the risk of contamination by waterborne diseases, especially cholera.”
