WaterMaker™ Solar Portable Water Purification for Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Assistance Specifications The rugged Nimbus CUF-2500 system is designed for field-use under challenging conditions. The system produces 2,500 gpd (1.7 gpm) of purified drinking water using a combination of filters including: high-capacity gradient depth prefilter, hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane, and an activated carbon block postfilter. The system is configured for use with a gravity feed source (18 psi minimum); no electrical input required. Options include: solar power configuration with solar panels, submersible pump and controller, or generator power configuration with submersible pump and converter. All system components are packaged in a rolling case. This system is light enough to be moved and deployed by one person. At 75 lbs, the system may also be checked as baggage on most commercial airlines. Applications |

WaterMaker™ Solar Automated Water Purification for Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Assistance Specifications The WaterMaker Solar UF system is designed to support large scale disaster relief or humanitarian assistance efforts. The ultrafiltration membrane system will produce up to 15,000 gallons (56,000 liters) of drinking water per day depending on weather and solar isolation factor. This system may be monitored and controlled from a remote location using a cell phone or laptop. It is equipped with batteries for additional capacity and when sunlight is limited. The system can also utilize power inputs from wind turbines, generator sets or a traditional power grid. The WM-Solar15k-UF weighs only 3,100 lbs and has a very compact 6’ x 6’ x 5’ footprint. The system is air, surface or trailer deliverable to a site. The system is very simple to set up, usually within 20 minutes for 2 people. Features |
